4D and model-based scheduling

Glaass adds visual planning at $50/user/month, and Projul folds scheduling into all-in-one management for small contractors.

How to choose

Does the contract dictate the tool? On public and major private work, the owner often specifies P6. Your choice is then about what runs alongside it, and lean tools like Touchplan coexist with a contract P6 schedule on purpose.

Who needs to touch the schedule? If the answer is one scheduler, a CPM engine suffices. If it includes supers, foremen, and trade partners, add a field planning layer, or pick a CPM tool built for collaboration like InEight Schedule.
